Everyday Makeup: Soft Radiant Glow
Picture a breezy morning routine: a few reliable products, a swipe here and a dab there, and you’re polished and ready to go. This soft, glowing look is all about natural luminosity with creamy blush tones and subtle definition, giving you a fresh-faced confidence that lasts all day.
It’s simple, quick, and enhances your features without masking them. In this tutorial, I’ll break down exactly how to achieve that “your skin but better” radiance with just a handful of key products and easy steps.

Products Used
Priming & Complexion
- Sotoks Serum: A silky skin-prep serum that boosts radiance and smooths texture. Applied first, Sotoks hydrates and preps your face, creating a fresh canvas so makeup glides on effortlessly. I love how it gives my skin a dewy plumpness before I even reach for foundation or concealer.
- Green Smoothie Moisturizer: A nourishing moisturizer for healthy hydration. This lightweight cream locks in moisture (hello, glow!) and makes sure any makeup on top looks seamless, never cakey. It’s like a green smoothie for your face – packed with nutrients that leave your skin feeling soft and supple.
- Priming Spray: A refreshing makeup primer mist to ensure longevity. Visibly improves makeup application by reducing the appearance of large pores and preventing makeup from settling into fine lines.
- Be Amazing Liquid Concealer (two shades): One light shade and one deeper shade. (Shade 05 for brightening and Shade 13 for contour). Instead of a full foundation, we’re using liquid concealer to even out the skin tone and add soft definition. The lighter shade works to cover any darkness or redness and bring forward the high points of your face, while the deeper shade (just a few shades deeper than your skin) acts as a subtle cream contour. This two-concealer technique gives natural coverage and dimension without the feel of heavy foundation .
- Perfect Glow Drops (Liquid Highlighter): Illuminating drops that deliver a lit-from-within glow. These glow drops can be layered under or over makeup for luminosity. They have a lightweight, serum-like texture with light-reflecting pigments – think instant radiance. I used the shade Champagne.
Enhance & Lock it In
- Perfect Cream Blush: A creamy blush (05 Love Bug) that doubles as an eyeshadow. The creamy formula melts into the skin for a natural flush, and here it’s doing double duty – adding color to the cheeks and a hint of that same tone on the eyelids. Using the blush on both cheeks and eyes creates a pretty monochromatic effect that ties the whole look together.
- Tubing Mascara: A smudge-proof mascara that defines the lashes beautifully. Tubing mascaras are awesome for everyday because they wrap each lash in tiny polymers that won’t transfer or flake through the day . This one grabs even the small lashes, giving fluttery length and volume without any panda-eye by noon. Plus, it washes off easily with warm water – perfect for a fuss-free routine.
- Lip Gloss (in shade 19 Magic): A hydrating, non-sticky gloss to give the lips shine and a touch of color. The formula feels comfy like a balm but looks shiny like a gloss. We’re keeping the shade neutral and soft to maintain that effortless vibe – just enhancing your natural lip tone with a bit of gloss for a fresh, plump look.
- Claim to Fame Brow Pencil: A fine-tip brow pencil (I used shade 02 Medium) to lightly fill in and define. Soft, feathery strokes will give your brows a polished shape without looking overly done. This frames the face gently, keeping the focus on your eyes and that radiant skin.
- Time Setter Setting Spray: A makeup setting spray to lock each layer in place. We’ll be using this in between steps and at the very end, because a light mist of setting spray between layers of makeup is a pro trick for longer wear and a smoother finish . It keeps everything looking dewy and fresh, never powdery, and helps the look last from morning coffee to evening wind-down.
Get the Look
Prep & Prime

Start with clean, moisturized skin. Smooth a pump of Sotoks serum over your face, gently pressing it in until fully absorbed. This gives your skin a boost of hydration and silky smoothness right off the bat. Next, massage a dime-sized amount of Green Smoothie Moisturizer into your skin. Take a moment to really work it in – you’ll notice your complexion looks instantly more plump and alive.
Once your moisturizer sinks in, spritz a light veil of Priming Spray all over your face. Let it dry for a few seconds. The priming spray wakes up your skin and creates a slight tackiness, which is exactly what we want to grip our makeup and make it last. Now your skin is refreshed, hydrated, and perfectly prepped for makeup.
Conceal & Contour
Instead of heavy foundation, we’re keeping it light with just concealer where needed. Taking the lighter concealer, dot it under the eyes, around the nose, and on any little blemishes or redness. Blend it out with your fingertips or a damp sponge using patting motions, so it melts into your skin for an undetectable finish. You’ll see your complexion evening out, but still looking like real skin. Now take the slightly deeper concealer and dab a few tiny dots of this in the hollows of your cheeks (just under the cheekbones), at your temples, and along the jawline. Gently blend those out to add a whisper of definition to your face.
This cream contour trick is super subtle – it makes your bone structure pop in a natural way without any obvious bronzer or harsh lines. (Pro tip: Using a creamy concealer in a deeper tone as contour keeps the look soft and skin-like, and avoids the need for extra products .)

Once everything is blended to perfection, lightly mist your face with the Setting Spray. A quick spritz here locks in your base layers so they stay put, and it adds a touch of moisture so far. (Using setting spray between layers is a game-changer for longevity !) Let it dry before moving on.
Add Luminosity
Time to get that glow. Take a drop or two of your Glow Drops liquid highlighter and warm it between your fingers. Gently tap it onto the high points of your face: the tops of your cheekbones, along the brow bone, down the bridge of your nose, and on the cupid’s bow of your lips. For an extra radiant effect, you can even mix a tiny drop of the illuminator into whatever is left of your moisturizer on your hand and pat it onto your cheeks – this layers the glow from within. The goal here is a soft-focus sheen, not glitter, so keep it light. As you blend, you’ll see those areas catch the light beautifully when you turn your head. This step instantly gives your skin a fresh, dewy look, like you’ve been sitting in soft sunlight. If you want even more luminosity, you can add another very fine layer of Glow Drops later on top of the blush – but we’ll get to blush next.
Blush (Cheeks & Eyes)
Now for that creamy flush of color. Take the Cream Blush and using the blush stick (or brush – I prefer the MyKitCo Flawless Contour LL0.5 Brush), dab it onto the apples of your cheeks and blend upward along the cheekbones. Cream blush is very forgiving – start with a little and build up until you have a natural-looking flush that makes you look refreshed. The blush should blend seamlessly into the glow we applied earlier, as if the radiance is coming from within your skin.

Once your cheeks have that soft pop of color, take a tiny bit of the same cream blush and gently tap it onto your eyelids! This might sound different, but it’s one of my favorite tricks for a coordinated look. Using the blush on your lids gives a wash of subtle color that ties the look together in a monochromatic way . Just blend it across the lid with your ring finger – you’ll get a dreamy, diffused hint of pinky-peach that echoes the cheeks without looking like heavy eyeshadow.
The overall effect is fresh and cohesive – your eyes and cheeks both have that soft creamy tone that brightens your face. (If you’re feeling it, you can also tap a touch of Glow Drops to the center of your lids for a little satin shine.) Once done, you can do another light mist of Setting Spray here to set the creams so far – this will keep that dewy blush and highlight from budging while we finish the eyes and lips.
Eyes & Brows
With skin looking glowy and peachy, let’s define the eyes just a bit. Curl your lashes if you’d like, then apply Tubing Mascara to your top and bottom lashes. Wiggle the wand from the roots to tips, coating each lash. The tubing mascara formula will wrap around each lash and give you soft length and volume without clumps or smudges . You won’t need falsies or heavy liner – this mascara makes your lashes stand out while still keeping the look natural and clean. And no worries about smearing through the day; tubing mascaras stay put beautifully (no raccoon eyes!) yet come off easily when you’re ready.

After the mascara, take your Brow Pencil and very lightly fill in any sparse spots in your brows. Use small, hair-like strokes following the natural direction of your brow hairs. The idea is to softly shape and define your brows without them looking overly drawn on. Once filled, you can brush through with a spoolie to diffuse the color and make it even more natural. The brows will frame your face and bring attention to your eyes, but they won’t steal the show. They should still look fluffy and effortless.
Lips

We’re down to the final touches. For lips, swipe on that Lip Gloss in shade Magic. Choose a sheer, neutral shade that complements the blush tone – maybe a soft pink nude or a juicy peach, whatever makes you feel great. The gloss will add a bit of shine and tint to complete the fresh-faced vibe. It makes your lips look hydrated and plump, catching the light just enough to make your smile glow.
Finally, hold the Setting Spray at arm’s length and give your whole face a generous mist. This is the last step to lock in your look. The setting spray will meld all the layers together, taking down any powderiness and boosting that dewy finish while making sure your makeup lasts. I like to do a gentle fan or just let it air-dry for a few seconds. You’ll notice once it sets, nothing looks heavy – your skin still looks like skin, just with an added radiant filter.

And that’s it – you’re done! Step back and admire your soft, radiant everyday look.
You’ve achieved a beautifully natural glow that feels lightweight and comfortable. The overall effect is polished but effortless – perfect for anything from running errands to a casual lunch date or even a day at the office. With hydrated, luminous skin, a hint of creamy color on the cheeks and eyes, fluttery lashes, and a glossy lip, you’ll look like the best version of yourself. The vibe is easy confidence: you’re ready to take on the day knowing you look fresh, awake, and put-together without looking like you tried too hard.
Remember, the key to this look is using great skincare prep and a few multi-tasking products to let your natural beauty shine through. It’s makeup made simple, glowy and fun. So enjoy your radiant, glowing look and the simplicity that comes with it. You’ve got that lit-from-within glow, and you’re ready to rock your day with a smile!
